Kennedy Associate Architects have implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) that addresses health, safety, environment and quality management within the business. This IMS has been certified by GRS against the requirements of ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and AS/NZS 4801:2001. Copies of our policies have been included below:

Kennedy Associates Architects quality policy is applicable to our Directors, employees, contractors and to any person or organisation that represents us as well as suppliers in the conduct of their activities for an on our behalf. This policy together with the measurable objectives and targets will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it remains relevant and suitable to the operations.

We communicate this policy and its objectives in various ways to interested parties through mechanisms such as induction of new employees, scheduled team meetings, email alerts, and listing of our policy on our company website.

Kennedy Associates Architects is committed to reducing the impact of its operations on the environment. We acknowledge that as a service organisation we can minimise the negative impact on the environment in many small ways as well as be a role model for responsible and sustainable environmental behaviour of our employees and stakeholders.

-       Take environmental issues seriously at a Senior Management Level
-       Develop and support small-scale environmental improvement plans at sites wherever possible
-       Consulting with employees and suppliers to ensure that environmental impacts on sites are understood and addressed effectively

Our environmental objectives are to:
-       Minimise environmental impact to land, water, air, flora and fauna
-       Prevention of pollution, protect the environment, preserve natural resources and conserve all heritages

To achieve these objectives, we shall act to:
-       Ensure high levels of management and staff involvement in achieving stated objectives
-       Continuously engage all stakeholders in meaningful consultation and communication
-       Use suppliers, wherever possible, who have similar environmental objectives as ourselves and give preference to environmentally friendly products and equipment
-       Always weigh the environmental benefits of a product equally with its price and safety benefits
-       Measure our performance and use this information for the continual improvement of our services and Management System
-       Comply to all legal, contractual, statutory and other compliance obligations.

health & safety policy

The Health and Safety of those who work either directly or indirectly for Kennedy Associates Architects is of the utmost importance to Senior Management, and we are committed to the continual improvement of health and safety performance within the business.
In order to achieve our OHS objectives, the following commitments have been made by Kennedy Associates Architects:

-       Provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill-health, including the provision of ergonomic equipment for our workforce who work from home;

-       Identify and fulfill legal and other requirements applicable to Kennedy Associates Architects;

-       Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks, so far as reasonably practicable;

-       Continually review and improve the OHS Management System;

-       Consulting and organising for the participation of workers, and, where they exist, workers’ representatives such as Team Leaders;

-       Ensuring this policy is implemented within the organisation, and made available to interested parties;

We maintain and continuously improve a Business Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
